Did he try making a u-turn over the median, or what exactly am I looking at here from a road surface perspective?

Well obviously not with all those heavy batteries. If you want to fly, clearly you need a hydrogen car.

Is that manchester NH? Trying to figure out where this is, but doesn’t look like very good separation of roadways. Volt is a bit low to the ground though, can confirm. Also can confirm that they won’t fly vertically...

he tried to leave the service road that also serves as a drive-up lane for the starbucks by going over the back of the lot which has a 2-2.5' drop
green is proper path, red x marks the spot of his attempted flight

I really don’t think our seniors want any part of a flying car

2-2.5 feet? That’s a heck of a drop to not have a fence or some sort of barrier at the edge. Especially when it just looks like another lane from certain angles.
